hey guys! only a little over 40 hours left to back-up the before, after, and in between anthology on kickstarter!

the anthology consists of twelve comics by twelve artists (four artists for each category); the central theme being the end of the world.

since the $15,000 goal was reached, there’s a new $50 pledge that includes one of three postcards featuring the main characters of my comic: butterflies. (pictured)

the artists featured in this anthology are: taylor c. AKA enenkay, geraldine chan, william gibbons, marina julia, yuj lee, yasmin liang, kathryn mann, mai k. nguyen, OMOCAT, emma rand, monica ray, and due to an unforseen event, RMR will not be participating but nate maurer AKA captainosaka will be filling her spot in the anthology.

sorry for lack of posts; a lot of things happening lately… i’ve been working on some long-term projects (and also attending a lot of 21st birthdays)

anyway, i have two kickstarter projects here that you may be interested in that feature my work along with a bunch of talented artists!

1. AWESOMEROBO apparel (only a few hours left!)

“AwesomeRobo is a website created by a group of ragtag members from different walks of life and nationalities.  Our focus?  To simply find stuff we find cool and post it in one easy to find resource, as well as giving less recognized artists some much needed exposure. “

so awesome-robo basically got a bunch of cool artists and got them to make a bunch of really cool shirt designs and now they need your help to make them real!! i was featured on their blog a few times back in december 2011 and they said a bunch of nice stuff about me… and may i add they were also awesome to work with :>

2. NOBODIES v.2

“This comic anthology is a full color 150 page perfect bound comic by comic creators from all around the world. Creators contribute all new original stories to the book to go with our theme of “nobodies.” We want to create art because we love it. We aren’t scared of the bumps and bruises (that comes with the territory). We’re here to make the work we want to read. There are no restrictions and anything goes.

This anthology is used to be a platform for relatively unknown comic creators to come together and show everyone else in the industry that we aren’t meant to be taken lightly and we’re here to stay.”

a comic anthology with a noble cause! for nobodies volume 2, i decided to create an original story about omori ひきこもり. it’s creatively titled omori’s story. i’ve posted some previews on both my tumblr and my twitter if anyone is curious!
